freezing ribs?

I'm planning on hauling my wsm to a weeklong training event away from home that I have next week. I'd like to smoke some BRITU ribs for our Unit's Annual Cookout while we are there.

Has anybody ever preped (mustard and dry rub) their ribs and froze them before a smoke? I'd like to prep them Sunday night and throw them in the freezer over night. The cookout is on Tuesday, and they would be stored in a cooler until then with the mustard and rub already on them. Any ideas? Will this work? Or should I just leave them fresh in the cooler from Monday morning til Tuesday morning and put the mustard and dry rub on Tuesday morning before I set the smoker up?
