Freezing Beef Ribs

I do not usually freeze meat before cooking it. However, since the "Fred Flintstone" ribs are an occasional find at the local butcher shop I am considering buying more than I need the next time I run across them. I am thinking that I will use the food saver and then freeze them. Anyone have any experience with this? Should I wrap them in freezer paper after the food saver? About how long can I expect them to keep before I would need to thaw and cook?

Agreed.
Ken, I lost a flat in my freezer for 2 years and it was fine.
