The finish on my slate blue lid was a little matte-ier (that's a word, right) around the handle so I asked Weber how to clean it. Those unreliable customer service people at Weber never answered my question and instead sent a new lid. 
So this one's free to anyone who wants to pick it up. It doesn't look so bad in person--especially with the taco handle in place. This is for the lid (and vent) only--no handle, no thermometer. Pickup from Cranford, NJ or thereabouts.
