It’s been a crazy July so far! We went for a long camping trip over the Independence Day weekend, then left for Maine for beercation 3 days later!
Independence Day weekend, we went to our favorite campground, Ebenezer Park in Rock Hill, SC. Got there Friday afternoon and we usually order pizza from a local joint, then cook most of the rest of the meals
We have friends that lives near the campground, so they came out Saturday night for chicken sliders on vegan sweet rolls. Our youngest grandson, on top of the nut allergies he has, has developed a milk allergy too, so Pammi found a recipe that very similar to the King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls and they’re delicious! It was served with some baked beans

We cooked breakfast the next few mornings, but I only got one documented!

We did a pork loin and pattypan squash one night. Very tasty!

We also did a little renovation! We didn’t like the valances, so I removed them and put up some curtain rods. Makes it look a little more like home!
Had a 3 day work week, and we left for beercation in central Maine on Saturday.
Not much cooking happened, but we did eat some lobstah!

It was beercation after all, so we HAD to have Phil-B-Q!
On Thursday night at about 8 using some bbq rub I found at the store

And the next morning when I went to add more charcoal

And Friday afternoon!
Can’t have Phil-B-Q without baked beans!

Good eats for friends and family!
