Fish Tacos

Got some Tilapia that is really delicious! It was a bulk buy from wherever my wife got them vaccum packaged and frozen. I was skeptical, but they are delicious, fresh and tender! We've done them once on their own, but this time went with fish tacos, and will definitely do it again soon!

Shoulda put more on them all. Don't know what I was thinking. Great blackening seasoning.

Not gonna lie...this was the star of the show! My wife did avacado, corn, tomato, cilantro, red onion, and about 2 fresh squeezed limes. Extra fresh lime juice kicked you right in the tongue on the first bite, and then everything mixed in and melded beautifully.

Thanks Tony. I'll let her know. We've made this dip/salsa/condiment before but this time it just popped! I think my wife likes jalapenos as much as you, but shut down the suggestion and said shooting for "fresh" on the whole meal. No heat. Naturally...she was right.

Good stuff, Luke. As much as I enjoy seeing pictures of cholesterol-laden BBQ meats, it's quite refreshing to see some well-prepared healthy fish tacos.

Luke, the force is with you! Great looking fish tacos, my wife makes a similiar salsa but adds fresh mango to it and mexican cream. Thanks for the post!

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I'm stoked to be on the forum and contributing. Lot more cooks to come!

Carlos, what is mexican cream? Mango sounds like a great addition!
