First time/Long Time

First post..long time lurker.
After the winter we've had in Massachusetts, we have been hankering for some summer cooking. Alas the ole' Blue Ember (by Fiesta) appears to have finally given up the ghost. Went to move it to shovel the snow out from around it and the grill box completely separated from the cart on one side. Further investigation shows the right rear coner of the grill is nearly corroded through. I'd have expected it more from the left side (where the hot spot is...)

Can't say I'm sad about it though because I now have "permission" to go by the grill I've always wanted. With carte blanche from the "treasurer". Narrowed it down to the E-330 or E-420.
Just could not justify the extra cost moving up to the Summit line so I split the difference and pursued an EP-330. Found ONE in black at our local Weber Alliance dealer (he only had 4 grills in stock..must still be early in the season for inventory up here..I was the only customer NOT looking at pellet stoves!) and he gave me a VERY reasonable deal on it. They are assembling it this week for pick up on Saturday. Classic Accessory cover has arrived and the Weber spatula, brush and OXO tongs are coming today (via twvbb Amazon link)

Glad to be a part of Weber nation now...told my MiL I just bought my last grill...I had to explain I wasn't being morbid, but the grills are just THAT good!

Now..what's the first thing we should cook to christen the new 330?

Welcome to the site and congrats on the new grill. Enjoy that first cook. When are you going to try smoking also? Just a thought. After all, just one Weber is never enough.

Thanks guys!
The Weber 7591 Genesis Island Cabinets arrived and hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate so I dont have to do the set-up install on the EP-330 indoors!
