First Time "Catering"

So, I volunteered to bring some pulled pork to my office's holiday party. I'm contemplating smoking 4, and perhaps up to 6, butts. The most I've smoked at once before is two. What differences, if any, should I be prepared for? I assume the time, amount of wood, etc. should remain the same, but will I need more fuel? (When I smoked two butts, it seemed I burned through my fuel a bit more quickly than for one, but that could have also been due to other factors.) Also, I will be using the bottom rack for the first time for meat (I have only used it in the past for beans, etc.) I have an 18" WSM; I plan to wrap the finished butts in foil, place them into a cooler, and bring them to my office (where I can pull just before serving). Thanks, in advance, for any advice.

I do four regularly for the same reason as you - various events and parties. I've found that at about 10-12 hours I need to add fuel and,if you want, some wood. I also find the smoke runs roughly 16 hours. Enjoy.

Success!

Notwithstanding an evening of snow, sleet, and cold, hard rain (all night long), I made five pork butts (nearly filling the somoker to capacity, though I probably could have squeezed-in a sixth). I did need to add some additional (lit) charcoal after about 9 hours (perhaps because of the weather; perhaps because of the amount of meat), but the pork was done just a couple of hours before the party. I wrapped them in foil, placed them in a cooler, and pulled the pork 30 minutes before the party. Everyone loved it -- my co-workers described it as the best pulled pork they've ever had.

Thanks to everyone on this board who has provided advice and help. I've had my Weber bullet for almost a year, and have used it often. It has been a fun journey, made all the better by all the great advice and guidance provided on this website.
