First time beef ribs

Picked up some beef ribs on sale couple weeks ago. Decided to take them out of the freezer and smoke them this weekend. Now they are the Walmart beef ribs, so they are certainly not Lampe beef ribs but the price is right and it's my first time. I got some beef marinade and I'll let them sit in it for ~12 hours. Just curious if people just let them go, or like to implement something similar to pork spares like the 2-2-1 methods. I'm probably leaning towards foiling for some time since they are not the highest quality beef ribs. Any other recommendations or suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

FWIW my experience with beef bibs is that they have plenty of fat. So much that I usually trim off quite a bit and then just let them go for 4 or 5 hrs. I do not foil and they still come out plenty moist and juicy. I do baste them with sauce a couple of times during the last hour. Let us know how they turn out.
