First Spirit restoration

I'm new to restoration and this is my first Weber Gas Grill (LP).
This looks like a Spirit E-310 The Unit has no stickers. The bottom panel is rusted away. I'd like to know what year this could be. Investigation I did puts it around 2009 ish. Another Question is athere models that had Gold color hands and knobs?

Looks like previous owner may have painted the gold.

I have never seen that color of knobs before. I think your year estimation is pretty good, but I am not real familiar with those grills.

I think the handle and knobs are just very faded from sun exposure. That one will take some work, but the redeeming aspect is that it does have the classic Genesis E-W 3 burner & crossover setup. Kind of the very last gasp of the original Genesis design. Not bad; an over 20 year run!

Thanks Bruce. I suspected the knobs were spray painted, they are pealing to the original black color.

Drop in a new floor and you have have a great cooker.
While I am not a fan of the atrocious gold handled and knobs,
it does appear that the previous owner ponied up for some
very nice stainless grates.

Yes Dave, also previous owner updated all burner and manifold parts with new. I’m excited to get this thing up and running.
