I do not have a dog so maybe that is why I prefer the ones without the enclosure. Everyone that is enclosed seems to attract more rust frequently.

It does. But a lot of people do like the closed in cabinets. I definitely think a Silver A with cabinetry looks better than one without.

It is definitely hard to restore one of with cabinetry that is rusted badly. The parts are too expensive to get your money back in a resale.
