First cook on the new 22.5"!

I got my 22.5" as an early Father's Day present. I grabbed some thick-cut pork chops and some sweet corn from the store for the first cook. I loaded way too much charcoal, but took about two hours to cook the most succulent chops I have had in a while.

I can't wait to get a Pork butt and brisket on this bad boy!

Congratulations on your wsm you will love doing butts on it .now you need some wheels and a the hinge for the lid those are the best mods to do happy smoking and good eating

Welcome Shawn...still pretty much a newbie myself. I have to say, I've smoked meat on just about every kind of smoker ever made for the past 35 years, and this WSM is the most amazing smoker I've ever seen. I think it makes us all better cooks. Good luck and have fun "playing" with it. :wsm:
 
I grabbed some locking 3" casters and installed them on the feet a couple of weeks ago, love it even more now. Maybe get the hinge for Christmas!
