Feeling INCREDIBLY stupid

I would be tempted to leave it as is for a bit. Next time you use it, get it nice and hot and scrape off as much of the goo as you can with carefully use of a putty knife. Then maybe while it’s really hot, pour some water on it as if you were cleaning a griddle and see what happens.
If that’s not successful, then move on to more aggressive options.

I thought of that but the smell was awful and I don't think I would want to have that again on purpose :D

Off topic, but have you ever had tandoori marinated chicken? Costco had some once so I tried it. It was fantastic. Never seen it there again
No, I have this aversion (a very strong one) to anything dairy or mayo for that matter being used on anything that is going to be grilled or fried/sautéed.
For the record the chicken breasts came off the Ninja incredibly tasty and moist. Much more so than I ever give chicken breast credit for

I dont recall the exact process, times or temps, but a while back my brother once did some 1.5" thick ribeyes sous vide, then smothered in mayo and slapped them on a ripping hot hunsaker (I think) griddle on a kettle. It was some of the most tender delicious steak I ever had. couldn't taste anything mayo... the crust was just to die for. A bit of a mess cleaning up though.

Just knowing there was dairy or mayo I would not even be able to get it to my mouth. Yeah, it's that "off putting" to me
