Today I had the pleasure of meeting the legendary Dave Anderson of @famousdaves Famous Dave's BBQ. He was in San Jose judging the regional Famous Dave's All-Star BBQ Series event along with my buddy @slapyodaddybbq Harry Soo of Slap Yo' Daddy BBQ.
Congratulations to Grand Champion Old Greenwood BBQ and Reserve Grand Champion Los Mexi"Q"tioners BBQ -- both received a waived entry Golden Ticket to the 2023 World Barbecue Championships in Dallas, Texas, November 8-12, 2023.
Los Mexi"Q"tioners BBQ started their competition barbecue journey using the WSM before graduating to bigger pits for contests and catering gigs.
Long-time forum members may remember that ten years ago, Famous Dave joined us for a Q&A to promote his book Famous Dave's Barbecue Party Cookbook.
