False alerts?

I received 2 alerts last night about 2 threads being moved. #1. They are not my threads. #2 There was no name, just a question mark on who posted the 2 alerts. I have not clicked on them. I have sent a PM to Chris about this. Awaiting his response. Has anyone else ever received anything like this?

I got a similar alert last night, Joan. I just assume that it's Chris A doing some clean up. You may have gotten alerts if you had posted in the thread, even if you aren't the original thread creator.

Just a guess on my part. I'm not concerned about it.

Thanks Rich, I checked one thread and it was mine, but it was in the right forum. I haven't checked the other one yet. It was the question marks and not Chris's picture that confused me. I am going to check the other thread now.

Can't find the other thread.

The reason I am so concerned, yesterday I had something take over my computer and it took a lot of help from DH and my DD to get my computer back. I don't want to go through that again.

I'm pretty confident that you are going to hear from Chris that this is something related to site administration, and not someone taking over your computer. :)

If it was Chris, why the question mark instead of his picture?

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
