Fajitas!

I whipped up a fajita marinade and dropped a flank steak in it and left it in the fridge overnight. When I got home I fired up a chimney full of Stubb's and placed an oak chunk on the fire. Soon followed that up with a cast iron flat griddle of green peppers and onions. Then the steak.









No plated photos - too much eeetin goin on. Thanks for lookin at my cookin. :cool:

Mind sharing your marinade recipe?

I got this from the book Grill This Not That

1/4 cup of veg or canola oil
Juice of 2 limes
1 Tbs sugar
1 chipotle pepper in adobo
2 cloves garlic crushed and peeled
1 tsp chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Purée in a blender or food processor and pour over steak in zip lock bag turning every so often. I let it sit a day or so.
