Saw these two at IKEA today. Poorly constructed and fairly expensive.

That just means you will be buying another one from them in 5 years.
They were thin aluminum fireboxes. Stainless steel burners and PCI grates...all proprietary in appearance. Good luck finding parts in 2 years.

The firebox was cast aluminum?
It seemed to be aluminum... nowhere near as thick as either my Weber or Broilmaster. Looked like double walled lids, electric ignition, stainless flame tamers like I've not seen before. Cabinets were powder coated sheet steel. Thing about IKEA stuff is you never know who made it for them.
