My wife saw a sale and bought 6 racks of BBs at a good price. I will smoke them tomorrow is there anything I can do to save them. I know to use less salt any other tips.
I totally agree with Bryan-----don't add any salt whatsoever and you'll be ok. Those guys actually take really well to Raichlen's rotisserie olive oil/lemon/herbs de provence approach, btw.
The only BB's I can consistently find are denatured (oops, I mean enhanced). Reduce the salt in the rub and they taste okay, at least on day one. It seems that the "haminess" that people mention becomes more noticeable when the meat is re-heated.
GREAT! My wife came home with two packs of the same enhanced ribs!!! They are on right now. I rubbed them with Stubbs Rub, which is low in salt! Oh well...............ARG!
