Electric Smokers?

Hey guys, any of you have much experience with electric smokers? I have a WSM now, which i love, but there are those days when i don't have enough time/energy to BBQ on the WSM. Now i know the taste isn't going to be as good with an electric smoker as it is a charcoal but would you consider it descent? An electric smoker would be very convenient! This is the specific unit i'm looking at (masterbuilt with 30in with window "New Generation"):

I have a 30" MES which I use for cheese, nuts, bacon, or anything where you need/want lower temps. It is convenient, but when it comes to smoking meat, I want a flame.
 
A friend of mine has an electric smoker. He likes it. His BBQ is still good, just doesn't have enough smoke flavoring for me.
 
I think it's a great idea to have an electric smoker as well as the WSM . You can't beat the electrics for jerky and cheese smoking. Just another tool in the kit , brother!
