That has been for sale practically forever. He should try dropping the price to $1K, put it back in the box and offer shipping. I tried to get $675 for my restored one and pulled the local ads after a while since it was not worth it to me to sell it much less.20210507_141336.jpg
 
Well it's really for a collection not to use or I wouldn't. I've passed on a few nos grills for that reason. Just dust collectors. Probably what would have happened if I got a glen blue 26er. Same with old muscle bikes. Nos in box for huge money. Yep there's the 3 grand box of bike parts.
