All done! First time in years we didn’t dye eggs, used fake ones this year.

As a kid my mom's side of the family made these. I always felt bad when it was cut. Somehow it did not seem right to me. So I never ate it

There was a little family bake off this year. These were the other two entries, they did well for their first attempt. There were many years when we had to hold the head/ears on with bbq skewers and toothpicks! The trick is to use a dense pound cake mix and grease/flour the mold.
