Evening folks! Went by my local meat shop yesterday and found these sweet little chuck roasts on sale(they sold out of the bigger ones so I ended up with a couple 2 pounders!) wanted to do stout chuck Sammie's but I got veto'd again and my wife missed our last pot roast cook so we are trying it again! Started with these 2 roasts dusted with S&P and garlic!
Seared them both on the CI grate over the chimney(looks like a Jim Lampe steak!)

Then some shrooms, onion and garlic in the pot!
Everything in the pot for a bit of a simmer(red wine, mushroom soup, worst sauce and beef bullion!
