Durawood

The Durawood on a grill I'm trying to clean up has indents in it where somebody placed something hot. I think maybe the end of a rotisserie. There are a lot of them. I wouldn't mind flipping the Durawood slats over, but what would I do about the screw holes? Has anybody done this?

Kenn: Those slats are pretty durable, but once they get melted or deformed, they are pretty much done for.
But, if you want to try to clean up the melted areas. I suggest you grab a couple ounces of straight bleach and dab a little into those areas. Keep doing it to keep the areas wet. After about 5 or 10 minutes, you should grab a small wire brush or a green scrubby or even some fine steel wool and go after it.
Since you are working with bleach, take all precautions to protect your clothes, eyes, skin, etc....

I think he means they're melted not dirty. I would simply turn them over and put a tiny amount of caulking or some filler in the screw holes
