I put 17 lbs. of Butt on the smoker this morning. Last time I checked on it, it was ~177° internal. Somehow (hic!) I went to sleep and woke up about 2 hours later! Foiled it and put it in the oven @ 275°. It'll be fine.
Also heating up some frozed "Barbie's Beans" and making some coleslaw.
Interesting things I bought today:
Kraft "1-Step Coleslaw Maker" - 22 oz. squeeze bottle. Almost perfect as is, but leaves room to "kick-it-up". Maybe some minced onions, garlic, bell pepper, Cayenne. Good stuff, a keeper.
Jack Daniels "Hickory Smoke" Mustard - 9 oz. squeeze bottle. A Dijon-style, grainy mustard. I'm hooked, I admit it. It's the "go-to" from now on.
Jack Daniels "Hickory Smoke Brown Sugar" Barbecue Sauce - 19 oz. squeeze bottle. Similar to Sweet Baby Ray's. Extremely good, no heat. Great base for homemade sauce.
As a Best Buy employee, I got a FREE PogoPlug for completing some training on it. It arrived today! Works as advertised, really cool!!
Things I don't like: Had to switch from static addressing to DHCP on my router. Didn't realize that it took sooo long to recognize the files and folders on my FLASH drive, don't have any external drives.
