doing my 1st chuck roll tomorrow night


 
well they only took 16.5 hours at 240 lid temp with no foil. i thought for sure they would go 20+hours.
Tony, Since you cut it in half, that's why the faster cook time. Looks great to me.
 
man, that was some good eats. i held them both in the cooler for over 5 hours. the bark was good, the meat was moist and tender. very good eats. i still have the 2nd one here. might put some in the sgetti sauce i make tomorrow. and maybe some chili one night.
 
I guess it's done. Looks beautiful Tony. Very nice. Just happened to fall on a bun? LOL. Sounds like a case of sticky fingers to me. The cooks prize.
