Does anyone have an opinion on using Peachwood?

I have removed a small peach tree that died in my yard and I was wondering if peach wood was decent to use.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Peach wood is wonderful to use.

Pear, Plum, Mulberry, Apricot, Grape vines............... if you can eat the fruit or nuts it's fine to use.

Peach is just fine. I use it with any meat-very versatile. It is just perfect with pork when added to some hickory

I used straight peach for some butts...they came out terrific.

The next time I smoked butts, I used hickory, and was left with a strange sensation of "seeking" the smoke flavor while eating the pork...like the hickory didn't contribute much to the flavor of the pork, and my taste buds were searching for it.

Next time, I may try mostly peach with a hunk or two of misquite (I can hear my good friends from the Carolina's shuddering at the thought).
