havnt used my wsm all winter and pulled it out to smoke a slab of bb today. I could not get the cover off for the life of me. It wasnt frozen to the smoker either. I think the cover must have shrunk over the winter sitting on my patio. Oh well , I finally got it off without ripping it. Took about ten minutes. Anyone else ever have this problem with th 18 inch wsm. anyways pictures of cook to follow in the photo gallery.

I added handles to the side of my 18" then bought a 22" cover. With a 55 gallon plastic bag on first, no problems here.

Now where did i leave my beer...?

The cover that comes with the WSM 18.5 gets a little tight once you put handles on it. I actually put 4 handles on it and it's a real PITA now to get it on and off. The 18.5 OTS needed a cover too, so I bought a $5.99 Weber vinyl one at Home Depot. That vinyl one fits the 4 handled WSM like a glove. I now use the WSM cover for the 18.5 OTS.
