Diamond Crystal kosher salt

I just bought a 3 lb box of Diamond Crystal kosher salt at Raley’s. It had a big sign that said sale, $9.99.

I guess that was cheap, Walmart is $17.90 for a box.

Something is weird with salt right now. Winco is out of Morton’s and Winco now has Winco branded salt in a box like the old Morton’s, sans the metal retractable pour spout. I’ll be at WM or Costco to get Morton’s this week. It’s freaking salt. Why is it so hard to stock kosher salt?

I recall folsom costco had morton kosher this weekend. I did not buy any.

Safeway in EDH and Raleys both had morton kosher.

Stores around here have not had any Morton’s on the shelf for more than two months! I’ve been raiding the “porta kitchen“ stock when I found some at Costco! Two boxes in stock in the kitchen now, when I finish one, I’ll immediately restock!

I couldn't find Morton's for several weeks a couple of months back. Even tried Amazon. When it showed up on the shelves again, I bought a couple of 3 pounders. Will be keeping 1 box in reserve and getting more when I open it.

Just checked and our local Walmart is out of stock but it appears to be available on line from both Walmart & Amazon.

Yeah, somethings up - we haven't seen Morton's Kosher in a couple of months. Recently I've seen Diamond in our stores, but I'm a Morton guy and will hold out as long as I can.
