Delayed Smoke Day and Cicada Fest Combined

We had a baseball tourney this weekend and that, combined with some really lousy weather Fri-Sun meant I wasn't grilling or smoking until today. But finally, I've got some ribs on and I'm happy - so are the Cicadas, judging by their volume.

Calorie overload, but worth it. I should've taken the ribs off 15-30 minutes earlier, but they were still good. Also did some homemade Mac-n-cheese, along with sous vide corn on the cob and BSB that were finished on the Genesis. My new favorite way to do CotC is sous vide - comes out great every time. Chicken was in SV with some Dizzy Pig IPA rub, then sauced with the same sauce as the ribs. Corn was in with just butter, then grilled and topped with Parmesan. Oh, and the rib recipe was one I got from Weber in an email the other day. Made for SmokeFire, but cooked on the WSM. It's a nice, spicy rub, with a sweet sauce - good balance and enjoyed by all.
