Second high heat brisket this week. Had better fire control 5.5 lb flat only took ~3 hours..unfortunately discovered a small hole in the foil - was tender and flavor was off the hook, slightly dry but #5 sauce cured that. All in all excellent brisket - daughter said best she ever had (and best sauce - added some sauted onions and a serrano from the garden). Many thanks to the pros!

Thanks all, it was by far the best tasting brisket I have made. Got a high end choice flat from the yuppie store. Previously I had been a bit reserved on the amount of wood, this time more aggressive (hickory/apple mix), used Wolfe Rub Bold - very good IMHO. It had a deep smokey - beefy taste and the #5 sauce goes perfectly. Thanks again to all the pros, my daughter said she doesn't go to commercial places for BBQ, she comes home
