Wife did groceries today. Came back with a ridiculous amount of food. Mahi Mahi, Tri Tip, a beautiful 10 lbs. prime packer brisket, and 18 lbs. of Boston Butt. Will probably freeze half the butt. Definitely cooking the tri tip tomorrow. So, what about the other butt and the prime brisket? What would you do?

Mahi Mahi was doused in lemon juice, covered in blackened seasoning, and grilled over lump on the kettle.E3EFFF7C-702F-4494-A995-677FDBDB4A74.jpeg60CBB9E1-9E95-4695-A78F-C32DE21D63CE.jpegBA8EAB15-0C80-4B4E-835D-F794D2EFBE52.jpeg

Nice looking fish! Packers usually are good for a while so I'd check the date and do it next week or the week after. Cook the tri tip on the kettle and get the other butt in a brine or inject it tonight and get smoke it tomorrow. Pulled pork freezes so well especially if you have a food saver. That's how I would get down!

Got a grinder? Sausage or brisket burgers! Could always separate the point & flat and turn one into corned beef or pastrami. Gary has some good ideas.
