Deal on WSM?

I sure have enjoyed this site as a Lurker! Great site guys and an insperiation to join the gang! In fact I have now sold my large offset pit to join your ranks. Now I need to buy one and I just want to get a good deal. The problem is, in the rest of the world outside of Texas, retailers call this Winter!

Anyone know of a good source for a deal on a WSM? I wouldn't mind paying $180 shipped for one, but the good deals people have referenced here seem to have all disapered or run out of stock (ex: grillguys.com). I'd sure like to get one and start usig it as I've been a fan of them for a while.

If anyone is interested near me, I saw one in my area for $179 this week. Stermer Brothers had them.
 
I just got a WSM for an anniversary present from my wife. She bought it new in the box on EBay for $175 shipped. She was the only bidder, but the seller (AudioGuys) had several more listed for the same opening bid. It arrived at the house in excellent shape. Looking forward to firing it up this weekend!
 
Wow, I guess they got some more in. I called them at the end of October before I ordered from Cooking.com and they told me they had sold out and did not expect to get anymore in until next spring's shipment.
 
Maybe its me but, when I see the WSm advertised for $199 it comes with a "free" cover. When I see it advertised at $179 it comes without a cover. Co-incidently the cover sells for about $20. I'd get it without the cover and use a heavy duty garbage bag to cover it.
 
The cover is standard. Failing to list it is merely an error of omission. Touting it as "free" is just embellishment. Hopefully, BBQ suppliers haven't reached the depths of the stereotypical NYC camera sellers who pilfer accessories from products to offset cheap pricing.

I saw this seller on ebay. He is audioguy678 and his price is now $195 shipped, but he hasn't sold any for a while.

Well, I was going to suggest cooking.com as they have a perpetual $30 off $175 deal, but they have raised their base price on the WSM to $249 since I bought mine in October!!! I got mine there for $176 shipped. The discount is still valid, but the new base price is a deal killer.

Looks like the price of smoking meat in a new WSM has gotten a little more expensive...
 
If you want one, better get it now. Theres the couple places still selling for 199 shipped. Don't think its going to get any better by the looks of it.
 
Just in my local Ace Hareware today where I'd bought 1 of the 2 WSM's they had on the floor about a month or so ago. The other 1 is still there. $199.00 and comes with the cover. Don't know how much it would cost to ship.

I used the Amazon link from TVWB and the price was $199 shipped three weeks ago. I guess the price has gone up for Christmas???

Any more deals out there? I'm getting one for X-Mas, but I gotta find one first!! My usual Home Depot is sold out. I thought about checking others in the area and their Expo store. Any other ideas for a good price in Atlanta?

Not only are they out of stock, but I called and they said none are on order. Said maybe they will have more in spring.
