Who you picking and what's cooking for the big race?

I got a breakfast fatty starting now. Wings, smoked meatballs and pulled pork nachos for during the race.

Junior looks strong but I got my money on Brad and the blue duece!
 
I think it goes to either Hamlin or Harvick. Junior is always strong at Daytona, I wouldn't be surprised if he took the checkered flag.

Today I am smoking spareribs on my new Performer. Cherry & Hickory wood chunks over KBB. Used Penzeys BBQ 3001 rub.

I have not decided if I am going to wrap yet or not. Going low and slow at around 225. I'll post some finished pics!

I vote no. Just keep that cook going at 225 and plan on 4 maybe 5 hours if you can maintain 225. I'd mop them every hour or so with a apple juice based marinade. I'd like to see Jr. win today, always happy to see him win
