Does anyone know around what time they introduced the one touch system?
A friend has a 1996 kettle with the 3 daisy vents on the bowl which i hadn't seen before

The one touch and daisy wheels overlap each other. The earliest one touch I have seen is a 1985 model. The latest daisy wheel I have seen is the 1999 that I have.

It used to be possible to buy replacement 3-wheeler bowls from Weber, but I don't know if that's still the case.

However, if they're in production for overseas sales maybe it's still possible.

I'm pretty sure that the 3-wheelers were available in stores in the U.S. until 1999. As far as getting replacement bowls, I'm not sure. It still amazes me that customers overseas get more options/styles/colors from Weber (an American company) than American customers do. But thats a topic for another discussion.
