I must be in a funk...
the steaks (to me) were over cooked.
the tiny itty-bitty taters were under cooked.
the mushrooms, peppers and the cactus were... ideal.

Looks fine from what I see. I'd eat it. We used to have a cactus plant at my parents house across town. If I did not excel at unintentionally killing cactus I would grow one just to try it on the grill.
 
Nopales are frequently on sale at our Texas supermarkets, but I've never tried them. But, with all the prickly pear that grows wild around here, I can't figure out why anyone would pay the grocer for 'em.

I haven't tried them at home, but I've eaten them in a couple of my favorite Mexican restaurants. They weren't bad, but I haven't developed and appetite for them yet.

Maybe we ticked off the Steak Gods, my strips last night didn't cut it either.

Bet when you were a kid, if your mom had said:
"We're having cactus with supper"
you would've ran away from home
