Yes I really enjoy it. Just so weird that he's Australian"Longmire" is a modern western and pretty good if not great.
The ballad of buster scruggs is on Netflix. The Cohen brothers remake of True Grit with Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn is an outstanding Western in my opinion.
High Plains Drifter. The ballad of buster scruggs is on Netflix.
It's kinda out there..
“Does Sam Elliot's part in The Big Lebowski make that movie a Western??Mag 7 and Tombstone are both good, but Josey Wales, Unforgiven, and True Grit are my favorites. I like both versions of True Grit, but the newer version probably wins by a hair IMO. Although I love the new version, i have to watch with subtitles. Roosters (played by Jeff Bridges) low gravely voice is hard for me to understand the dialog is really quick hitting.

I won't recommend that one for the OP since he doesn't care for harsh language dude.
Love it but just not quite the draw of the early limited vocabulary stuff. What about Pale Rider. IMO an Eastwood masterpiece
Yeah but even though he's older he still had "the stare". Every time you saw the stare you knew bullets would fly and bodies would fallLove it but just not quite the draw of the early limited vocabulary stuff.
