I was recently at Costco and found that they are selling USDA Choice packers for $1.89lb. I picked up a 10lb-er for this weekend. Finally, they have seen the light. (of the WSM smoldering)
I thought I saw a couple packers in the Mapplewood MN store once but since its only been flats. I havent asked the meat dude and I just started going there so.....
Here in the Sacramento area Wal-Mart has increased there supply of whole briskets but they are selling for around $2.84 a pound. Bite Me Wal-Mart. I will see what my Costco has to offer.

Here in Dallas we have full choice packers all the time at Costco...or at a minimum we have them everytime I've needed them. I guess I could just be lucky.
I wish Costco would carry Charcoal year round.
I forgot to load up this fall before they ran out.
I haven't seen any full packers at mine here in Maple Grove, MN.
I was at my local Costco last night, no packers there. Only the trimmed flats. However.....they did have tri-tip, two to a package, for $3.99/lb. I let the kids choose so we left with some loin back ribs, but that's the cheapest I've ever seen tri-tip locally.
