Costco Cilantro-Lime Flank Steak

My wife usually does a throwdown marinated Flank Steak of her own on the Genesis, and I don't get in the way. But this time she said "cook it anyway you want, as long as its got grill marks on it"!

Fired up the Performer with CompK and a couple Oak wine barrel chunks and quick grilled it with the Cast Iron grate.

Wow. Is that just a grate off your gasser? That's a great idea. Did you sacrifice a regular performer grate to get the hole in the middle or did you purchase that somewhere?

Weber used to sell the Cast iron grate holder, but disontinued them a few years back. This setup came with my Performer, and the cast iron grate is the same size as the Genesis grates.
