Bob- based on your reply I decided to try my hand at making these.

My first attempt was promising enough that I am going to try to perfect making them, so thank you.

I jury rigged a holder attached image (it was past sundown when I started) - I want to ask the forum- what are you using to cook these on the grill?

I use a popper holder but damn your set up looks perfect.
This was $14.97 in 2019.

Second go round-I jury rigged another contraption using a rack and assorted skewers- much better but possibly a bit overdone on the bacon.

The nice thing about this setup was room for a rack of pork.

Did not like these I felt the peppers had a weird taste.

I know what you mean, they have a slightly “preserved” flavor, making them by hand is t really very difficult, a little time is worth it! Not super thick bacon is an important part too. Too thick and the peppers get too soft, the cheese runs to the next county and makes for more cleanup.
