Cook time for small butt

I picked up a 4.5 lb butt today. This will be my first one. I've read that it takes roughly 1 1/2 hours per pound with a lot of times taking about 14-16 hours. But, if it's 4 1/2 lbs then I'm thinking about 7 hours. Is that correct? I know cooking times vary, but I'm just trying to get a rough idea of how long it will take and whether I need to start cooking the night before or not.

I'd go with a 250ºF grate temp and expect it to be done in 6-8 hours max (some buffer built in there).

It's small and if you go lower it will take too long and dry out.

If I cook two of those small butts, do you think it will increase the time very much? I wouldn't mind doing two, but I don't want it to take twice as long.

I always take the opportunity to do two. One can never have enough butt around the house.
