Control panel for Genesis Gold vs Sivler

Are the control panels the same for the Gold as they are the Silver Genesis grills? That gold that I picked up had the melted knob and I don't think I am going to be able to rescue it. I am hoping I won't have trouble finding a replacement....Golds are very uncommon around here but I might already have a useable Silver panel.

I agree. The Platinum one is the same, also, except the last two years it was light gray. Still interchangeable.

Cool guys. I hope I have a spare that is good enough to replace the meltdown one on the gold. That will probably be my next project after the Silver A and Silver B Greenheads.
