Considering Genesis Smart Grill. Some questions.

Shoulda gone to Costco. Just got back from mine they have a bunch of the Genesis II grills 4 burner with a Sear burner. $1100. Not a fan at all of them (new Genesis) but for that unit seemed like a good deal

I actually much prefer the look of the Genesis compared with the Genesis II. Not sure how they compare quality or performance wise. I’m commenting strictly on the aesthetics.

BTW, Weber really seems intent on creating confusion. The Genesis is newer than the Genesis II… and a new version of the Genesis with the same model numbers but maybe some cost saving measures… ***!

I saw one of these lights on a grill at Ace, and it seemed to work okay. Turned on and off automatically as you raised/lowered the lid. A fair bit cheaper than buying the full handle.

I have one of those lights on my 2016 E330 and it is nice in winter to be able to open the grill and see.

I also have grilllight tongs and spatula. They are pretty cool.
