I use Gorilla Glue Gel. It comes out very nicely and I put a little dab on each raised circle on the back side. And a few dabs on the areas where they are not present. I dab it down and slowly pull up when I stop squeezing to kind of make a tiny little mountain (I’m sure there’s a better word here) so I know there’s enough glue there to make contact with the surface of the wheel. Including the ones inside the WEBER letters.
The best thing you can do while gluing most anything is to keep pressure on it for the duration of the glue’s curing process. This Folgers can full of bolts and random hardware fits the size of the insert perfectly. So I leave that on for about an hour. This particular ring was fairly flat but I’ve done it on a few that weren’t and seems to hold up well.
