Clip tool holder on Performer

Quit using this on a kettle some time back due to the created tight lid fit/gap, but find it works great on the Performer's lid holder.
Just bend the tabs shut.

Use the exact same thing to hang my charcoal (food tools I use the reg hooks) tools on the performer. Got sick of them falling off the wire rack.

Hmmm, wonder if a hot chimney can hang there too,
too lazy to go out and see right now lol
 
You could probably hang it from the bail on the webber chimney and it not hit anything. I have a plastic scoop (I use to scoop unused CC out the next time) on mine which would melt.
 
Anybody ever use the top of the center support on the lid holder to hang your cooking grate? I noticed it the other day and it works great. Maybe common knowledge but hadn't heard anybody mention it before.
