Christmas Ham

Yeh, I know it is a little early, but figured I would get a head start.
T-day's honey brine turkey was the best ever. I was thinking about trying a ham for Christmas from scratch. I read all the cooking tips. Looking for advise.I just want to try a to make a small ham.

Here's how I did our ham for Thanksgiving and it was the best ham I've ever done. Directions and recipes are further down the thread.
