We were at Trader Joes last weekend and I saw a bag of almonds. Recalling the topic in the cooking topics section of this fine forum,I chucked 'em in the cart. Unfortunately,I got busy over the rest of the weekend. So today, after work and after the rain stopped,I uncovered the WSM and fired it up! A single chimney of K and a nice chunk of pear that was left from last weekends cheese smoke, and here they are!

This is a shot of them cooling on the counter, after a nice coating of K salt!

Oh my goodness! So good and so simple. These will be made again!

Keep seeing posts with smoked almonds, and they always look incredible. Will have to try some this week! How do you know when they're done?

@Mike,mine went for about 40 minutes. They don't have a lot of smoke flavor, but man oh man, ain't they yummy!
