This should make ya feel a lot better bout your tri tips .

Wife and I went to Sam's Sunday. We bought my fav bacon, its a 4 pound package and a great price $17 . ( and btw, when cooking, this bacon smells like the aroma off my smoker with ribs on the grate )

Well, we get home and don't communicate, and the bacon gets left in the car over night. I figure about 15 hours.

I put it in the fridge just to keep it till trash day Friday. But now I'm wondering if it might still be good ? Is bacon different from other meats ? If we open the pack and it doesn't smell bad, is it still good ?

Probably safe if it was dry cured, but you most likely won't be able to determine that from the label.

edit, Maybe contact Wright?

I commend you for your honesty Lynn. I know some folks who would return it to the store citing something like, "got the wrong brand" or "too salty". I'm not familiar with Sam's but Costco would exchange/refund it in a heartbeat.
