Chops, thighs and cookies on the Gasser!

Cabin time and with some wet weather finally hitting our area it came with a couple power outages. Mist over the river was like nothing I’ve seen.

Craved some cookies so baked them on the old Redhead!Chops on Saturday with some incredible cucumber salad and potatoes. Thighs on Sunday with polentaCheers!

that looks amazing. the setting, the cook, the wine and cc cookies.

i think i might make a similar type of cc cookie. i brown the butter first and then let it cool a little bit before incorporating it. doing this adds a slightly nutty back note flavor. it really ups a basis cc cookie to the next level. try it if you're interested.
