Chicken Legs

I got a party coming up and was thinking about doing a bunch of chicken legs as a good finger food. I was thinking about doing the hot and fast chicken (which I've done twice now), but I'm concerned without the extra meat in the smoker about cook times.

I'm thinking about turning them at about 15-20 minutes at a temp of 325 and waiting till their done.

Anybody done just legs before? I'm open to other recipes too. I'm doing this on a 14.5 if it matters.

Jason;
I use only the top grate. I remove the water pan and run the smoker wide open. It generally runs about 350 degrees. It takes about 45 minutes +or- and I flip at 30 minutes. I sauce the last five minutes or so. I get crisp skin and wonderfully moist chicken if they are brined for 30 minutes to an hour before the cook. I use Weber's "Kick 'n Chicken" rub after applying a light coat of EVOO to the chicken.

I have done this on both a 14.5" WSM and an 18.5" WSM as well as the Mini-Joe with excellent results.

Keep on smokin',

Thanks for the input guys. Has anyone tried to use a rib rack to increase capacity on top rack? I'm thinking about giving it a go this weekend to see what happens.
