Chicken, Beef or Pork?

Of the three listed above, which would you say you have eaten the most of?

Ok, please don't think I am crazy, but I have kept a record of all recipes we have made since 1988. Here is how we stand up through 2020.

Starting with the MOST

CHICKEN (including salad) Made - 411 recipes - 34 made more than 1 time

BEEF Made - 340 recipes - 51 made more than 1 time

PORK Made - 258 recipes - 37 made more than 1 time (74 of them chops, 53 ribs)
Recipes made more than 1 time? 129

So what does that tell me? Pork, my favorite, we have the least. lol and yes, I do have a lot of time on my hands and I love keeping all kinds of records (than's another story-real records I mean.)lol

How about you? What do you cook the most?
 
I am an equal opportunity carnivore.

While I don't track what I eat, I do tend to stick with a particular meat and then move on. May do pig 4x a week, (I don't bore of the boar) then move on to chicken dishes (grilled or baked followed by the obligatory soup) then steak for a few nights. I think this routine goes back to a very primitive inherited gene of the Cro-Magnon hunter in that there was no variety in the kills back in the day.

Ate whatever was available when it was available and I am OK with that.
 
So Frank, pig 4x a week? That doesn't sound like an equal opportunity carnivore to me. Looks like you are a pork lover like me. lol
 
When I was younger I ate more beef ( grew up next to the old stockyards in Chicago)
Now it's Pork 3 or 4 times a week.
Chicken 2 or 3 times a week.
Beef 1 or 2 times a week.
Seafood gets in there sometimes.:)
 
For us I’m sure it would be chicken in the top spot, odd because of the three listed it is my least favorite. Pork would be number 2. Followed by fish/seafood, than coming in last, my favorite, beef.

Chuck, so sorry, how can we help you eat more beef?
 
Pork is so versatile, with so many cuts that can be cured I'm sure it's the most popular.
 
Pork wins in our house, I mean come on, bacon is the champ. But really, we tend to eat pork tenderloin when most would grill chicken breast or thighs for a quick meal. Pulled pork, bacon, sausage, chops, etc etc.

I love them all though. During the summer, we tend to eat more seafood, the advantage of being closer to the coast. 😋
