Check these burners please

So I got this gold for free. I mainly got it for the thermoset tables aand hood since the cart is trashed. But they said they had recently replaced the burners and they look ok to me except for about 3/4 of the way down in the same spot in all of them is a split I've not seen before on others. Are these maybe some non Weber burners?

It's put there on purpose. Not sure why but it is

That's what I was thinking but is that OE design by Weber? the other 2 sets of tubes I have of that size do not have that

I have seen OEM Weber burners both ways. Honestly don't know what purpose they serve

I just got a new set from Weber last week and they have that slit too...
